"Walking in a winter wonderland"

We made it to Reno, Nevada easily with of course a dinner stop at In-n-Out. The kids are currently running around the hotel room at Circus Circus happy to be playing and waiting for the cheese pizza to be delivered via room service. The terrain suprisingly had snow covered mountains at Donner Pass and Logan began singing "Walking in a winter wonderland" at the top of his lungs. Hilarious!! He remembered going to Lake Tahoe earlier this winter and how the terrain was similar and at the time sang the same song. It's funny how beautiful California is and how you knew when you entered Nevada because it instantly looked plain and rocky outside. It looks like the high desert in California where we used to live. Geoff is trying to read Aladdin to the kids on the queen bed and none of them are listening but he keeps reading as Luke says "dada, dada, mama, mama..." So we're off to bed soon in our sweet deal of a room for 28-dollar-a-night with expernsive Wi-Fi and room service, but got a cheap room! Hope to put pictures or video in tomorrow on our way to Salt Lake City, Utah. Please continue to pray for our trip as we plug along tomorrow. I can see this is going to be more and more fun every day.

  2. When do you guys plan on making it to Danville? If you need a sitter one night, let me know b/c Jennifer Durham volunteered to watch Jerusha's kids one night when they get there next month, so I'm sure she'd love to watch your kids too. Call me if you want her cell number. BTW - Kristy, Jennifer is my best friend from VA and Geoff knows who she is. So she's not just some strange lady! Ha! Love you guys.
